Farmer Tans Of The Capital District
A seasonal calendar featuring local farms, crops, and -of course- farmer tans.
2020 CALENDAR COMING OCTOBER 2019
The Plan:
We’re creating a humorous and informative calendar featuring capital district farmers and the local crops we’re so proud of. 1,000 Farmer Tans of The Capital District Calendars for 2020 will be printed. These will be sold online and in select stores for the 2019 holiday shopping season. A portion of the proceeds may go towards a charity who would like to partner with us (TBD – suggestions welcome). Any remaining calendars will be distributed for maximum exposure.
Each month will feature:
- One farm (their farmer tan, featured crop, and town)
- 3 Farm Ads
- Featured farm events
- Major local crops to look for that month
- Regular calendar stuff (holidays, etc)

Featured Farms:
We are looking for advertisers and 2020 farm events.
Costs:
- Min bid for a peak month – $150
- Min bid for an off-season month – $75
- Monthly ad – $50
- Event listings – $25* each (due Sept 1st – solidified events only please).
This money will go towards calendar printing costs. Any money raised above printing cost will be donated to the charity or organization determined.
Months will go to the highest bidder. A short window will be allowed for counter bids. September 1st – Final Deadline for featured farms, monthly ads, and events.
If your bid wins, you supply the models (5 max) and we will schedule a photo shoot.
